Street Gallery presents five digital worlds by BIIMO at Theatre Factory 42.
The exhibition begins in physical space. Images from BIIMO’s worlds are displayed on digital monitors across the gallery wall, each accompanied by a QR code. Scanning the code gives visitors access to the work through their own phones, where they can explore interactive environments with original sound compositions and fragmented stories created by BIIMO.
In BIIMO’s practice, physical and digital space are closely connected. Screens, phones, projection, AR, and web-based environments are not simply formats for presenting the work. They become points of access, allowing the work to move between the gallery, the street and fully virtual environments.
The exhibition presents digital art not as an image contained by a screen, but as an environment that can be entered and explored. Each work has its own sound, scale, rhythm, and sense of time.
